About me
Angelica Boffetta
Artist of the mask
Creator of Contemporary Baroque Jewel Masks, she is an eclectic Italian artist with a passion for art in all its forms. Music, first and foremost, has always been her lifelong companion, up until September 2019, when she discovered another powerful passion for the world of mask art.
Over two years she has painted and decorated 600 masks, inventing styles ranging from baroque through to contemporary. Her masks have been described as unique in their genre, admired by many Italian critics and writers who saw fit to include them in two books published by Art Factory and Art Now with the involvement of Vittorio Sgarbi, Francesco Alberoni Alessandro Meluzzi, and top-level promoters such as Salvo Nugnes among others.
My masks express the deep essence of my artistry, born of concept taken from music: a union of two artistic worlds of beauty that extol the purity of colours with their empirical meanings.

Atelier
The studio begins with a very simple staircase in very unusual wood, with a wrought-iron banister featuring decorated reliefs, only to open up to walls covered with masks in striking colours, highlighted by lights and LEDs, beautifully decorated and always with their trademark GOLD, there in every AngelMask creation, symbolising splendour and power.
AngelMask’s colours are strictly hand-painted, using a personalised technique and over ten different shades in the case of some masks.
No air brushing or spraying, but simply exploration of colour that sets them apart as absolutely unique.
My masks express the deep essence of my artistry, born of concept taken from music: a union of two artistic worlds of beauty that extol the purity of colours with their empirical meanings.
In each creation there is a revelation that the artist communicates through strong and very incisive decorations that denote and interpret its intention.
